Special restorative class: A special hour on your Saturday afternoon. An invitation for you to make the space and give yourself a bit of self-care and kindness through a lovely relaxing yoga class. A restorative yoga sequence typically involves a few poses, supported by lots of bolsters, cushions, blocks, straps etc that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for sometime with all the comfort you need, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle back bends. You will be encouraged to focus on breathing deeply, releasing physical tension, promoting deep relaxation and finding a sense of inner stillness. Mindfulness and meditation practice are included so you can let go deeply inside yourself working on the mental patterns that cause stress and tension.
